Tips For When You Depart
We hope you are enjoying your stay, but shortly you will prepare to leave sunny Florida for home.
Our guests frequently have questions about what they should do when they leave the home at the end of their stay.
One of the most important things is that you must depart the home no later than 10:00 AM. The cleaning crew will arrive at 10:00 AM to begin cleaning the home. We have guests who will be arriving later the day of your departure.
To answer common questions I wanted to provide you with some additional info on the departure procedure. Most importantly you should leave the home in similar condition to when you arrived.
Our cleaning crew is focused on health, cleanliness, and sanitation, not housekeeping items.
Please print this checklist and use it as you prepare to depart.
Departure Tips

Please wash all dishes and return them to the cabinets

Please wash any towels and return them to cabinets the day before departure. Our staff will wash the miscellaneous towels used immediately prior to your departure.

Do not make the beds- you may leave them unmade- all bedding is striped and washed after each guest departure for sanitary reasons

Please leave the garage door opener in the kitchen drawer near the telephone

Please leave any house keys in the kitchen drawer.

Please be sure that the master key has been returned to the lock box in the garage.

Please be sure all the exterior doors are locked and windows closed

Please be sure the garage/family room door is locked

Please turn off all interior lights

Please dispose of all open food items from the refrigerator or elsewhere to the large trash containers outside the garage (our cleaning personnel will remove the final trash to the street)

Please be sure you have all your belongings (we will return anything we discover to you)- did you check the patio?

Did you leave the garage door opener in the kitchen drawer?

Use the garage keypad on the outside to close the garage after all doors have been locked.

Remember please, many guests depart very early do to airline flights. Our cleaning crews wold like to start a early as possible. As a courtesy, please text me at 1-630-347-2291 with your departure time. Simply state the property you are in and your departure time. Our cleaning crews prefer to start cleaning as early as possible.
